When we first received these knives from the Kai Shun Premier Minamo range we were struck by the stunning aesthetic on the side of each blade. With a unique "Minamo" effect (named after the Japanese word for ripples on the surface of the water), these knives are more than just a pretty face. With a core of VG-Max steel, clad in 32 layers of Damascus steel, this knife retains its edge beautifully and is razor-sharp. With a comfortable ambidextrous pakkawood handle and designed with an attention to detail which has made Kai the go-to for performance knives.
